Paddled the Lower Econlockhatchee River today with the Meet-up group I formed last month. Only half the folks showed up who reserved a spot. The river did not disappoint, four Bald Eagle sightings, a crested cara cara, and a heap of well fed alligators. Got home later than expected (big surprise) and spent most the afternoon cleaning last weeks gear.
This week will be HELL week for me. Two tough kayak trips coming up, trying to arrange some pig sitting for a month, lots of paperwork to fill out, and my kids need some "dad" time.
The new camera worked fine all week. Took some great shots. Will try to post some photos this week. If anyone has an old digital SLR with a great zoom that they are willing to lend out, please let me know.
