Trying to hold it together for another week. Second day off the river and the constant bombardment of noisy cars, beeping phones, rushed people, and jumbled manscapes have my nerves shredded raw. The moment I turn my back to the river I'm reminded that I don't belong off the river. Even the Amazon is to short of a paddle.
