HELP! my camera wont work. The display reads "write protect". I've followed the owners manuel on how to fix it with out any positive results. Anyone out there know a thing or two about trouble shooting an Olympus Stylus 770 SW ?

I have no idea, but I googled it and came up with a few things you probably tried already:
-Check for a a little tab/switch on the memory card that may have been bumped to turn write protection off.
-Use the camera settings to reformat the card.
-Call Olympus
-Buy a new memory card
