Just made it home in time for Christmas. Spent the last eight days kayaking the Everglades from Flamingo to Everglade City. Most excellent weather and our group had the entire Florida Bay to ourselves! Lost my third fishing pole in five years while getting a spotted sea trout off my line. Thank god everyone else had rods and could use them. Will head back down to Everglade City on the 28th to start a New Years Everglades base camp trip.
