Just got in from the mountains of western North Carolina. Lead a great group of people kayaking and hiking in the Great Smoky Mountains. I went from cool, quiet, bug free days to the depths of the Lake of Fire, screaming kids, city noise, and mosquitos. Why do I have to come back from the wilds? It would be better for everyone if my wife and family just came out and visited me between trips.
