Just found out that we will be getting some huge electrical thunderstorms down in the canyon Sunday and Monday. Half an inch of rain can make the river go up 8 feet. In addition it sweeps up dead trees, fence posts, dead farm animals, mud, trash, and wicked currents form. This is when DRAMA is good. Sure makes for bad swimming though. Wet canyon walls sparkle with color and hundreds of muddy waterfalls form along the canyons walls.
