I'm trying to understand the whole "Black Friday" thing. The way I understand it is folks line up way early in the morning to stand in line in hopes of purchasing deeply discounted flat screen T.Vs , video game systems, or video games themselves. SOOOOO folks are away from their families on a holiday weekend purchasing items to keep their families disengaged from interacting with other family members.
Wouldn't it make more sense to hang out with your family on a four day weekend? Or take a fun family vacation while other people are waiting in lines at the mall?
