THINGS YOU WILL ONLY ENCOUNTER WHILE TRAVELING WITH GREG PFLUG

The beautiful Fillman's Bayou, on the northern edge of Pasco County is a wonderful area for kayaking and fishing.  This could all be lost if the Corps of Engineers grants a permit to SunWest Harbortowne developers for a 5 mile dredge right through the middle of these sensitive sea grasses, marshes and wetlands.

Despite the inclusion of a small public park, the majority of the project – a luxury condo development and private marina – is designed to benefit a private developer. Ignoring the huge impacts to the environment, the state chose to support this massive project, basically giving these public waters to private developers for 50 years – a half century giveaway of vital, public resources that will irrevocably alter Aripeka, Fillman's Bayou and the Nature Coast.

You have two (2)opportunities to speak out against this permit. These are two different requests so BOTH WILL BE COUNTED.

Through ProtectGulfCoast:

Through Gulf Restoration Network:

Please help preserve this magnificent area that would be the largest project of its kind on the Central Florida Gulf Coast.
