Scary times indeed.
It seems the government believes most people want them in charge of their housing, banking, insurance, and medical care.
Lets see, the government has allowed are country to fall into trillions of dollars of debt, owed mostly to communist China.
Our government spends more on locking us up in prisons than educating us in schools.
So now that we are poor and uneducated all the government needs to do is take away our right to defend ourselves away (gun control) and we will be the easiest population in the worlds history to govern (rule over).
If any of us actually trust the government to do anything correctly why do we all drink bottled water?

Lets be clear Greg, its not the government, its the people who run the governement. We have elections but we never seem to throw the bums out. I agree we need to make government smaller but they have the jobs with the best security and benefits. Who will be employed if we make government smaller? Also, why do people spend millions on jobs that pay between 150,000 to 400,000 unless there is some kind of payoff? Oh well, I am going to the desert next week so I don't have to think about it.
