THINGS YOU WILL ONLY ENCOUNTER WHILE TRAVELING WITH GREG PFLUG

Thursday, November 29, 2007

I never new my thirtys would be so busy.
I've always thought working for myself would always be easier than working for someone else.
I thought by now I would be financially well off.
Living this long in Florida and traveling so many times in South America, I thought I would be bilingual by now.
I thought the kids would have become a bit more easy to manage by now.
I really believed I would have a steady daily routine by now.

No big deal, Just stuff I'm thinking at 1:30 in the morning when I can't sleep. By sunrise my nerves will be shot, I will have forgotten what I was thinking about, and I will be counting down the minutes before my first beer of the day and wondering how much longer till I can slip a Kayak in the water and wander.

I Love You, Lovetron!

Obviously you have learned much, having come to realize how much you didn't know/realize when younger. Age brings understanding, acceptance, patience, and wisdom -- and these can bring peace if you allow. (And you always have the water and wilderness for escape when peace eludes.) Welcome to the best form of adulthood -- when an adult can still act like a kid and get and give joy from foolishness and adventure.
