
Boiled up a few pounds of peanuts today while cooking 20 quarts of Green Chili Verde, 20 quarts of Catfish Shrimp Creole, and 30 quarts of White Chili. Only Sam and I could muster the nerve to eat the Chili Verde. The Scotch Bonnet Peppers really kicked it up. It took about a gallon of tea and a whole pot of boiled peanuts to put out the fire. I can't wait to serve it up to a bunch of hungary participants next month.

Hopefully not on the Mermaids trip in November. I don't think I can handle the heat.
