Just a quick photo of me playing with dead stuff on Lake Yellowstone.
I have been dividing my time between the family (wrestling boys) and trying to plan and pack everything needed for a month in the field guiding. I have also been placed in charge of maintaining a herd of tadpoles that took up residence in the kids pool. Tadpoles like cinnamon raisin bread and can devour 3 slices every twenty four hours. Cattle egrets have discovered the pool/buffet and can devour a few dozen before the kids scare them off.
I leave Saturday with Quock for a month of rivers. We will start on Utah's Green river Canyon for ten days, pick up some more clients then hit the San Juan for a week, start our way back east and hit the Sabine, then the Buffalo. Pick up a new kayak trailer in Arkansas, come home for two days, then guide a week in the Okefenokee.
