I'm alive!
Been hiding out in the mountains near Brevard, NC taking a nine day wilderness first responder course. The book work of course is a bore, however, the staged practicles are intense and fun since nobody is really going to die from the impaled hiking stick in their eye socket.
Its been around 35 every morning when I wake up and it never gets warmer than 65. So its nice out for about 4 hours a day. Class runs from 8am-9pm then I head to Brevard college in town for coffee, free internet, and to study in a warm dry environment.
Should be home by monday night. I need to stop in at the Okefenokee Swamp to check out the cabins and meet with one of the rangers about ranger lead activities.
